Richard A. Marcum

He has more than 25 years senior management experience within both arenas, encompassing a broad range of skills which include marketing, financial management, strategic visioning and planning, organizing and managing projects of major regional proportions, and lobbying all levels of government. His strong interpersonal and communication skills are evidenced by successful negotiations, board level presentations, public speaking and published written works.
Mr. Marcum's private sector experience includes over ten years as CEO of Capital Factors, Inc., in Dallas, Texas. Currently, he is a consultant for a major real estate developer in Dallas and is negotiating with the New Mexico State Land Commission.
His experience in the public sector includes serving as an economic development professional leading several successful community and regional campaigns, including successful efforts to convince the Pentagon from closing a military base with a $350 million annual impact on the local economy.
Mr. Marcum is proficient at the computer, with skills in word processing, spread-sheets and web-site design. He holds a Bachelors Degree in banking and finance from Texas Tech University.
