MyFloridaMilitary.com and the Workforce Boards of Northwest Florida welcome you to this site. Employers can access this site's services from any Internet access computer and obviously we are available 24/7. But before an Employer can begin to utilize these services, the business must register. We do this to protect our candidates by avoiding inappropriate data submissions. Therefore, we ask that you allow us 24 hours to review each business' registration. You will be notified via email once your registration is accepted.

Registration

Click on the Signup button. This takes you to a very short and simple registration form which must be answered completely. Once all questions are answered, click the green arrow. Immediately, you will be given a print out of your completed form, including your MFM.COM username and password. Print this document and save it as you will need the username and password to access the all the site's data. As stated earlier, an automated approval email will be sent to you once your registration is approved. It will read:

Dear (business contact):
Your request to be an employer for MyFloridaMilitary.com has been approved. You may visit https://www.myFloridamilitary and Log In to begin your search.

Review resumes and post job openings.

CONFIDENTIALITY - blind ads and blind resumes.

With many of our transitioning military candidates still on the front lines of combat, we want to insure that they and their families are completely protected. Therefore, all of our resumes are identified by a code name only. Once you find a resume that appeals to you, either print it out or remember its code name. There will be a place on the resume which allows you to send messages directly to that candidate via our SECURE MESSAGE BOARD.

You may also choose to withhold your company name, etc. As the communiqués between you and the candidate progress, either party can reveal their own information at any time. This will enable both candidate and employer to provide more specific information as interest mounts. In both cases pertinent names and addresses can be divulged with message board communiqués.

When reviewing the job opportunities, a candidate can also send messages to the firm via the SECURE MESSAGE BOARD or if the firm has chosen to provided contact info, they can contact through any traditional channels the firm may have provided.

When a message is sent to the SECURED MESSAGE BOARD, an automated email will be sent to the recipient. All automated emails from the SMB will read the same;

This message and the employer approval message are the only emails that ever leave our site, unless we are responding to an inquiry made to our Contact Us button.

MyFloridaMilitary.com provides the candidates with considerable information for them to provide employers should they so choose. They will be able to provide their name, address, profile, and even a brief "on-line" video clip introduction of themselves. They can release this information at any time in the communication process as they wish (click here for samples).

Now that the SECURE MESSAGE BOARD is explained, let's discuss the employer options upon receiving the approval email. Using your username and password, you can now Login and find that perfect candidate. As you Log In, a function menu will appear, allowing you to 1) Browse Resumes, 2) Add Job Opportunities and 3) Review Messages.



First let's discuss 1) Browse Resumes. Click on Browse Resumes and a list of job categories will appear. Click on those cate gories which apply to you needs, then again click the search button in the lower right corner. This will take you to a list of potential candidates.



Now, let's go to 2) Add Opportunities. Click on 2) Add Opportunities and again an automated form will appear. For jobs outside Florida, simply state, "Outside State". Complete the form, including the job description and then hit the green arrow. Your job opening is now posted for viewing.



To review messages, simply click "Messages from Jobseekers"
